Technology at NCCES
Technology plays an important role in education today. At NCCES, we're fortunate to have resources that many schools can't provide. Our ratio of 1 instructional computer for every 2.5 students is enviable and our machines are some of the newest in area schools.
Computer Learning Labs
Part of our mission is providing students with excellent access to computer-based learning opportunities. To promote that goal NCCES has three computer labs that average 20 machines each. We also have two fully-equipped wireless laptop cart with 20+ computers each for classroom use.
Network Services
Each student at NCCES is given a network account and an email account to promote their computing skills and further their academic work. Roaming profiles provide students with ready access to their documents and projects, no matter where they login to our system. All staff and student accounts are backed up nightly to help ensure no valuable work is lost.

- Highly redundant nearline, offline, and Internet vaulting backup systems
- High performance Linux and Windows dedicated servers
