NCCES has been participating in the Destination Imagination (DI) extra-curricular program each year since the school opened.� Destination Imagination is an international organization that challenges students of all ages to work as a team (independent of outside influences including adults!) to solve problems and learn to think creatively and spontaneously.� Teams of students work for four to five months to create a skit, build scenery, create costumes, and solve one of five challenges.� Each of the five challenges offers participants an opportunity to explore art, literature, drama, engineering, architecture or improvisation.� Their solution is then presented at a regional tournament which this year will be held March 10 at Ayer High School.
