Science Foundations 1
     Seventh grade science is an inquiry-based class. You will learn to ask testable questions and design experiments to answer them. Guided by essential questions, you will complete projects related to scientific inquiry, construction and manufacturing, genetics, evolution and environmental science. Literacy skills will be reinforced through a monthly science/technology current event assignment (Article Analysis). Through exploration of these topics, you will develop measurement, observation, oral presentation, and graphing skills.

September Article Analysis Homework Assignment
We all read the same article and began the writing of the analysis or review in class. Final drafts were to be completed at home and handed in by Friday Sept.4, 2009

All future Article Assignments will be homework assignments. Students will choose an article related to science or technology that interests them. Students should be prepared to share their article in class on the due date.
This is a standing homework assignment due the first Friday of each month.
