This course requires an enrolment keyPhysics is an inquiry-based course that focuses on investigation of the physical world and the rules by which it works. Students will investigate how light behaves and misbehaves (wave-particle duality of light), the fact that we're only ever guessing (quantum mechanics), how things move and interact (motion and forces), the nature of 'oomph' (momentum and energy), the shocking things in the world (electricity and magnetism), and the air pushes that tickle our ears (sound). In so doing, students will develop models and the enthusiasm that could dare them to explain physics to everyone; even the physics that they might have feared otherwise!
WARNING: Risk of addiction to seeing the world through physics outside of this class is extremely likely while taking this course. Enrollment will nullify the ability to watch movies with stunts and the restraint to test random fruits and veggies for their ability to serve as batteries will disappear.
